Spring is finally here and many people are thinking about cleaning out their closets. The Royal Run Home Owners Association would like to help out by sponsoring the 2007 Community Yard Sale. In essence, one Saturday a year, we invite homeowners to set up yard sales at their residences. The Home Owners Association will put adds in some of the local newspapers, put up flyers around town and take care of publicity. The event has always drawn quite a crowd and people who are trying to sell stuff end up selling more and those who like to browse have more sales to visit right down the street! It’s also a great way to meet people in the neighborhood. The sale will be advertised for Saturday, June 23, from 8:00 – 12:00. We will be providing a guide to all the sales in Royal Run on the day of the event!!! If you would like to participate and have your sale listed in the “2007 Royal Run Yard Sale Guide”, please send: 1) Your street address (for example: 6739 Dorchester Drive) 2) Your section name (for example: Briargate, Hunter’s Ridge II, Lancaster Park, etc.) 3) A quick summary of items that you might want to highlight at your sale (for example: model cars, antique guns, children's clothes, bed and couch, etc.) to kacynees@gmail.com by Friday, June 15! We will provide coffee, donuts and the Royal Run Yard Sale Guides free of charge at the clubhouse on the day of the event. We will also post the guide on the Royal Run Community website a day in advance. If you would prefer not to be in the guide, feel free to set up your sale on June 23 and enjoy the day!
